On June 20th, 2024, LIFE CO2toCH4 partners meet at the 11th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, held on the Rhodes Island. The meeting was conducted in the presence of the project coordinator Dr. Apostolos Antoniadis (PPCR), Froso Peleka (AUTh), Prof. Anastasios Zouboulis, Dr. Konstantinos Moustakas (NTUA), Lida Ampatzi (NEVIS), Dr. Stefano Campanaro (UNIPD), Dr. Konstantinos Kontogiannopoulos (ELGO), Polina Asimakidou (PPCR) and Helena Partheniou (PPCR).

The meeting was mainly focused on the progress of the installation of the mobile unit for hybrid energy storage at Agios Dimitrios PPC Power Plant Station, anticipated to be fully operational by the end of September 2024! This milestone signifies a major step forward in our sustainable energy initiatives.

Additionally, the partners discussed and scheduled future dissemination activities, including the organization of workshops and events, aiming to address the environmental, economic and technical issues!
